Anyone that has played one of the console versions of Bram Stoker's Dracula will notice that the PC version is quite different. The console and Amiga versions are 2D side scrollers whereas this one is built on a 3D engine.

Hmmm... The Review should say under the Technical Info, that this game should be run at 11000 cycles to run the game smoothly. Otherwise, the game runs frame-by-frame. Great game Btw!

it depends on speed of the computer which runs the game, if you have faster processor, the frame skip when it runs 'choppy' is higher. but its that you overclock cycles on higher value than your computer can handle, and its same with everything ran in dosbox

Yes. Bad oversight on my part. Sorry. :wallbash:

Actually I ran the game at 12000 cycles. As R.U.S.S said your machine may vary.

Edit: Maybe Romano would be kind enough to insert the following as the third sentence under Tech Tips.

"If you use DOSBox you will need to increase the cycle count to at least 11000 for the game to run smoothly."

Default Coppola version more than bram stoker version !

Everyone can notice from the images of the game, that the game is really near the Coppola movie. The three forms of dracula are those portrayed by Gary Oldman, and the costumes are exactly the same.
I loved this game because eighteen years ago or so it scared me, before Doom hit me with his breaking violence and graphics.

Unhappy Help needed in Bram Stoker's Dracula

I have been playing this Bram Stoker's Dracula now for a couple of days, and I'm stuck in the second level... I have only 4 graves left to close, but they are all behind a door which requires a NIGHT KEY to open. The problem is that I can't find that night key anywhere! Have anyone played this game through? I searched the internet for a walkthru but without any luck.
