The problem with anime is they break up the incredibly cool violences and mayhem with all that cutsey, Hello Kitty, dorky nonsense. I was trying to get into Trinty Blood. Great idea about a worldwide vampire menace battling the Catholic Church on airships and what not. But they pull that overly exuberant character interaction with the sweat beads and the eye-popping and the jumping up and down. I can't stand that crap!

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex is awesome. I refuse to watch anime dubbed though. LOL. So I am getting it from Netflix, which really has a great library of anime.

I find that SAC has a better, more focused sense of story than the GitS movie had. It was a great movie, but it felt rather meandering and slow at points. Maybe the episodic nature of SAC forces them to really create a concise story.

That's never happened to me, but then again not every 11 year old girl here has jugs bigger than her head.

This SAC is a good series and all that, but boy oh boy there are some things about the japanese I don't think I'll ever understand.
I don't think there's any turning back once you're there, so I probably don't even want to understand.
