One with Kirk? I'd rather see all of the old ones than seeing a new one with different Kirk.

And I'd really prefer another TNG-Movie. Although it would be rather boring without Data.

i wouldent be getting your hopes up just yet.
and it would be really good if rick berman was off the helm. enterprise bites badly.
the way ds9 ended was just sinfull. and voyager only got high ratings after they bought in a women in a corset and a cat suit...
it seems inevitable that they will bring it back. personally i would like to see a movie tying in all of the modern ones, janeway, sisko, picard, but due to the gay way they got rid of sisko that wont happen.
having a prequal to TOS, isnt that what enterprise would be....
and seeing how old or dead all the TOS crew are doesnt introducing them as youngsters seem a bit dumb. im sure it would make a great novel, but as a movie im not sure it would do well in the box office which is what they need.
the movie franchise so far-

1st movie- huge energy cloud . nice and sci fi.
2nd movie - khan. need i say no more the man is just cool.
3rd movie, random klingons, meh.
4th movie- giant world destroying whale thingy. nice and sci fi.
5th movie spocks crazy brother and *god* . shame they ran out of money.
6th movie the enemy is Intergalactic War . what hiegher cause can there be but preventing that?

and what joys have the next gen movies given us
7 kirk getting shot in the back by a short balding man. i try to blank that movie out of my mind.
8 borg queenn. camera angles all ripped from aliens... meh.. better than random klingons
9 sonar, picard getting his end away with a hippy. i like this one though, it feels like a next gen 2 parter
10 shinzon, shinzon, shinzon, shnzon, shinzon...
could have revived teh franchise
didnt
due to just a few reosens..
it sucks!!
ok you get the marrige of troi and riker yay
picard cracking jokes.. hmm
positronic signiture detected so we have to go to a mad max planet errm..
troubles in romulus. yay
get to romulus the wait, the ship revealed its got nice lines yay
they meet shinzon
he has a viceroy (star wars) and dies like the orc (lotr) he wears shiny clothes and is extremely effenitate and lisping.
also he makes classic evil badguy mistakes as well. "hey i coulda taken his blood as i only have like 3 days to live but hey i think i will study my *victim* before i steal all his blood" i keep expecting him to go nyeeer or laugth like master pain.

i think it should be laid to rest for a few more years. and whoever made the decisions involving the direction enterprise went in should never work on the franchise again.
also whoever came up with the idea for the final voyager and the final ds9 i would like to see given concrete boots.

Roddenberry is dead.
Jame Doohan (Scotty) is dead.
Brent Spiner can no longer resembles Data enough to play him (the problems of an actor playing a character that does not age).
The other actors from the original series are all old.

The writing has gone stale.

Enterprise gave us a glimpse of what any other Star Trek would be. Without an ensemble cast and some continuity (McCoy's cameo in the TNG pilot was important to establish that TNG carried on from TOS), it will be nothing more than people wearing starfleet uniforms in a story that Roddenberry did not write.

Much as Paramount would like to apply the Star Trek logo to turn something into gold, I believe that Star Trek has run its course.

What we need is something new, but Hollywood has gotten afraid of untried things.
