Default Uncle Julius and the Anywhere Machine [SOLD]

Hello all,

I remember playing a game back around 95, it could have possibly been earlier as it was a DOS game but I think I played it on Win95 first time. It was an adventure game in a first person perspective. I distinctly remember the first parts of the game, but not the name. It was a VGA game I think.

I believe you played as a little girl visiting her uncle. You started out on a bus on the way to his house. Once you got out, you were at his gate, and had to work out the combination to get in. Once you were in, after some investigation, you'd find yourself in his shed. There was a safe behind a painting on the back wall. You didn't know the combination.

If my memory serves me correctly, you found the combination by turning on his computer in the shed. The code was on the screensaver.

Inside the safe was a note and a belt (at least I think it was a belt). The belt enabled time travel. Your uncle left instructions to find him. You typed in a combination and it took you through time.

The next part of the game could have been past or future, I'm not sure. But I know it involved getting into the jail building on the left to speak to your uncle who'd been arrested. He wanted you to find his cane which had some kind of power to it. It was being auctioned off in the auction house on the right.

I don't remember much after this. Pretty detailed in my opinion, but that's as much as I remember. I think I played the demo only, but I'd love to find this game again just because it's bugging me

Hmm... sounds really good!
Was it mouse controled? Did the characters speak?
The game sounds somewhat familiar, but I'm probably confusing it with two other games (Alien Incident and the Time Warp of Dr. Brain).
If you can think of anything else please let us know!

@ Lewiji

Your description rings a bell, but I can't quite remember what it was called. I think it was something like 'Uncle's Great Time Machine'.

It was all mouse controlled if I remember right. I'll wrack my brains, and see If I can remember it more .

Is it Pepper's Adventures in Time? I don't know anything about the game, but Google pointed in its general direction.

Found it!

It's called 'Uncle Julius and the Anywhere Machine'

I think it's shareware, and I don't know if we're allowed to give links for shareware games (are we allowed?).

Just do a quick search, and you should find it.

Frodo! I love you

Originally I thought it was called the incredible machine, although I knew that wasn't the case as the incredible machine is a completely different game

Many thanks!

Default Uncle Julius and the Anywhere Machine [SOLD]

This adventure game, which I had on my seriously old computer (which would be a veritable plethora of abandoned games... however the hard drive's been totally corrupted) was very nice, graphically. All I really remember as far as gameplay goes is that your uncle or some relative was a genius inventor. You start out going to his house, and you have to figure out the combination of the lock on his garden gate, based on some note you find on the ground. That's all I can say for sure, but I also think I remember that he was convicted of some crime, and you had to prove him innocent... I dunno if that's actually part of the game, or something that my subconcious just came up with...
