OK, I have two HDDs: 20GB ATA and 80GB SATA.

C: partition is currently set on 20GB HDD (single partition)

80GB HDD is split in 2 partitions (40GB each).

I want to move my C: partition to 80GB HDD, keeping it 20GB in size and leave 60GB as D: partition while old 20GB drive should be wiped clean.

I guess the easyest way to do this is to use Acronis TrueImage or Norton Ghost, but I don't know if they will recognize my SATA drive corectly. Motherboard has NForce3 chipset, I don't need SATA drivers when I install Windows.

Also, can this be done with Partition Magic?

Thanks.

Just trie partition magic or norton ghost and check the documentation to see if what you are going to do can be done using the program if so see if it finds the drives by loading it up.

Win98's advice is probably the thing to do.
You have to see what the programs can handle and what they can not. Usually these partition and recovery programs are really well developed. The only good program that symantec made is Symantec LifeState Recovery. This is basically stolen from the V2i Protector of PowerQuest I think.
Cause Symantec swallowed them all... <_<

Paragon Exact Image works wonders.
