Default Discworld & Fable halp!

First...Discworld..

I have music, but I dont have the voices.. Why do I not have voices?

Second..Fable

I have sound (liek the river running...) But no voices...and the game froze the minute I entered to Frozen Lands..I hate running throuh DOS Box, as my PC is already Abnormally slow..so it is fairly slow through DOSBox..I couldn't even run Daggerfall..well, fast that is..

Is there a way to make both of these games (Fable & Discworld) playable without DOSBox?

You could try VDMSound .... but as I never used it, don't know if it will work.
My PC runs dosbox fine .... :amused:
Give it a try?

That's if you're on XP, won't work in Vista as far as I understand.

Because the version on Abandonia does not have voices.

Is there a place to get only the voices?

Because truefully, I downloaded it from Abandoneware Paradies, cus Abadonia was down, and It only has the music..

But I got Discworld working without DOSBox, but now it doesn;t even have music...

To the espresso machine!

No, but Home of the Underdogs has a full version with voices.
