See volume 1 of Dirty Pair: Sim Hell by Adam Warren. Several pages (I think about 3-4) into the story, in the page where Yuri finds out that the whole crash was just a dream, look at the rabbit mascot laying next to her - it looks exactly like Max from "Sam & Max hit the road". Funny, eh?

I doubt they have pages in movies, unless you're refering to a manuscript...

It's a comic, I believe? Well, so is Sam & Max. So we're hardly talking about a game reference here.

Dirty Pair is a comic (as well as a number of anime series).
Correct me if I am wrong, but to my knowledge, Sam & Max comics were originally the game, and the comics were later based on that.

The Sam & Max comics first appeared in print during the '80s.

Ok, well this isn't exactly referring to what Horseman's talking about. But these are references in the Sam & Max comic to 'The Secret Of Monkey Island'. These are the 100% original comic.

Just not a 100% original idea!!
Well I didn't know that they were comics before the game.
