Well one way is to use Dosbox to run the game and then press [CTRL]-[F5] to save a screen to a file.
Other than that there were loads of progs for DOS to save screens shots but I can't remember any names. Anyone? |

If I want to make a screenshot of a game I just press Ctrl + v and then paste in photoshop or similar program. That will not work in a DOS environment though and I don't know of any special programs that take screenshots.
