I was just sitting here thinking about some of the funniest games i have played. I think one of the best ones was Leisure Suit Larry when he got the enema treatment. Cracked me up.
What games have made you actually laugh out loud?

Some of the conversations amongst NPC's or enemies in No One Lives Forever. Also, a good dose of LucasArts adventures such as Full Throttle or Grim Fandango (and Schaefer's later Psychonauts) had a lot of choice, "laugh-out-loud" moments.

Tales of phantasia (english version thanks to dejap)
Some of the conversations were just hilarious. Some other games as well but it was basically because of certain system mechanics (eg. Blade & sword. pulling off a 89 hit combo on a level 1 enemy is so graphic that it becomes fun ) I almost nearly pissed my pants when i was playing Super mario world and a glitch caused me to look all normal when i was dying (eg. dying with a pokerface) |

I must agree with Don Corleone - Space Quest rocked, especially the fourth installment. However, Monkey Island will always have the top place in my heart.
(The Farm <thanks reloaded> has made me giggle recently though....)

Space Quest always kept a smile on my face. Toonstruck was funny in an odd sort of way. Monkey Island games ruled. Have any of you ever played Gruntz. Similar to Lost Vikings, the dialogue between the Gruntz is pretty funny. I have never played Get Medeival but I have heard it is pretty funny also.

Monkey Island was the funniest series (with quite a few LOL moments), but there were others that made me laugh really hard.
Have you ever played Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail? Just the registration form cracked me up (the game naturally is extremely funny - it should be since it's based on the movie). Then there were Sam'n'Max Hit the Road, now that's a game that had me laughing some many times (regarthless of how often I played it)... I'd have to say the single funniest game I've ever played! |

Yeah, I have to agree that No One Lives Forever 1 & 2 was VERY funny, and not only during the cutscenes, but the whole game !!!

Conkers Bad Fur Day
I am, the great mighty poo, and i'm going to throw my muck at you. Also a "Tediz" conversation before they realise Conker is nearby, then they react with; "muck it's that bastard squirrel, quickly! Back into character *snarls*" Gets my vote.
