Does anyone know when NHL '95 counts as an abandonware game and available to download?

As it says in the review, "NOTE! To access the statistics and team details screens you need to run this game in a true Dos enviroment. Dosbox won't do, although you can play the game fine in it otherwise."

Yeah, I've noticed that too. The weird thing is, when I play NHL Hockey 95 in Dosbox, everything works perfectly. I can edit rosters and stuff as much as I like, and it never crashes or anything.

NHL 95 is a bit different from NHL 93, the newer version has slightly improved graphics, uses SVGA in menus and also has some menu music. In NHL 95, goalies are also improved significantly, so it's not as easy to score as in NHL 93.

NHL 95 for PC can be downloaded from http://www.nhl95.com/downloads.asp The site also has a bunch of pretty good updates for NHL 95.
