I wouldn't as it may be a novel idea, you'll eventually get bored of it after a while due to the lack of challenge it poses.

Me thinks that some play to know the storyline, or just to see the whole game even if it is too hard. This can be the reason for codes.
I like easy-mode of Space Invaders in the video

usually with new ((or old)) games i get that i've never played before, i throw it on easy to breeze through it, see what its all about, and if it's worth it, i replay it again on a harder difficulty.
