Frontier: Elite II
Why is this not on here? I'm pretty sure it's applicable, and it's easy enough to get anyway. It's probably the best of the Elite series as well.

I was tempted to review it, but it's such an expansive game, and I was never any good at it either. Not to mention the bugs... was there ever any patches (unofficial even)?
