can't you download or can't you extract or install games?

Do not use a download manager to download from here, else our security will kick in and you'll only get corrupted archives. Just like you seem to be getting at this moment.

Corrupted archives will be useless for you.

I can extract the files but not install them. Also what how do i download the games if i can't use my download manager? (which i don't know what is)

What are you exactly trying to do? You make no sense.

First, most games on this site are already preinstalled. You don't need to reinstall them.

Second, if you want to play almost any DOS games with a modern OS like XP, for example, you'll need to use either VDMSound or (even better) DOSBox.

Third, if you are using the dreaded VISTA 64 bits then you have no compatibility whatsoever with old Win 16 bits programs. This mean that you are screwed, as far as I am concerned.

I don't have Vista i have Windows XP. i have downloaded games from this site before, but now its not working. this is how my donwload begins:

I get a zip file wiht the game in it and i extract is. then i look at the extracted files and look for somthing that can download/install the game on my computer. but when i click on the icon for me to download/install the game and i click on run it says i can't donwload it because the parameter is incorrect.

I have played DOS games before with no trouble at all.

Nope, JAVA has nothing to do with it.

Are you using DOSBox http://www.dosbox.com/ or trying to run the game in WinXP?

Which game do you try to run?

I have tryed ro run many games but all of them have the same problem. I don't know hwo to run the game in WinXP or DOSbox. i never had DOSbox before. Burntime is a game i downloaded before form this website but no i can't.

DOS games usually don't work with Windows - or if they do, they don't work quite right.

A beginner's guide to DOSBox should help you.
