Well, as for Windows 95, it's little too old for now. But I have Windows 98 for some hard nuts of old games, like Duke Nukem 3D running bit too slow in DosBox. So I don't dislike them, anyway.

I don't understand the question...

Windows 9x? First time I ever hear that term.

And if that's what I think, then I don't see the point. Windows 95 was really a waste of about anything I can think of, while Windows 98 SE was about the best Windows OS I tryied so far. Only the version of WinXP I am using right now can be as close, but somehow I prefer Win98 even tough it crashed everyday.

Compatibility and more intuitive system (less centered on newbies and getting in the way to prevent you from doing a stupid mistake unless you tweak a hundred options and a billion other which can only be changed by editing some files ) really do the difference.

windows 9x was ok, windows ME was crap (and its a travesty to include it as a windows 9x). the reason ME was crap was hardly any dos games worked for it and it was crashing constantly, microsoft should burn in hell for windows ME :ranting:

I simply don't like win9x, because of its long loading time and unrecoverable errors. I like the system restore point function of winXP. k:

Yeah, that's right. NT rulez, but I can tell you something about WinXP. Don't you find, that life in Internet become dangerous nowadays? Just as you connected to Internet, somebody starting to scan your computer ports, never noticed that? But, of course, to see, if your port was scanned, you need to have right program installed, but I can tell you, that this is true. There are lot of people, (like Bastin, I can tell you confidentally  ) who want to make your comp miserable. And, coming to the main part of my monologue, Windows XP is more vulnerable for scanners, that Windows 2000, because there are lot of security patches exactly for Win2k, and for WinXP there isn't much of them. But... It is my opinion, so you may not agree with it. But I learn this s**t on my own experience, so I think a bit, and killed my WinXP and installed good old Windows 2000! Now I have firewall and hate hackers. We can only remember times, when all was great with no firewalls and stuff...

Borax? Heh...

I can't stand WindowsXP, because my computer isn't powerfull enough to run it, so it makes everythign painfully slow... However i'm far too lazy to back up everything on my HD and install 98 or ME.

Technically, my computer shouldn't be able to even run XP, so im not sure how it does...
