Well, yesterday i just entered the art section, for the second time in my life i think, and read the long-time-dead Merchandising contest topic. Even if a thought it was a good idea and that it was a shame that i couldn't participate, i just leave it that way.
Later, a great idea came to my head (well, maybe not so "great"): Why not to make a TV comercial for Abandonia?

I downloaded a program to make GIF animations and after some time, using only Paint , i finished the comercial. It would be only a voice in off and a display of pictures. When the "space invaders" creature appears a little "jingle" starts, and when the last note is played, the creature blinks.........

hope you like it, let me know your opinion.......

EDIT: WTF? The animation isn't moving!!! well, i will se if i can fix it and re-post it.

ANOTHER EDIT: Since i can't post it direcly, just download the zip file and see it by yourself (Drag and drop the GIF file into an internet explorer window).

This is something that would require quite a bit of funding and I really don't think it would bring in that many new visitors anyway.

I'm probably wrong though, thanks for sharing your idea.

This is not for putting it into the TV, it is just for (my personal) fun.
A real TV comercial must be at least a little atractive, an my idea is just too boring LOL. And yes, TV time is indeed expensive.........

Not for TV, but it's a good idea for some kind of a web banner (although they are normally made in different scales), it would be cool to use it as some sort of intro for the site though...

The concept is good. It'll need some serious polishing to be ready for public IMHO. However, TV exposure is way out of our league. A flash-banner of aniamted-gif banner to put on websites would be nice. We allready have a couple of static ones (on this page), but a new flashy wouldn't hurt...
