I always had the problem of reaching the part of the tombstone, (almost at the end), and then can't getting out of the screen for recieving error 52, and the game crushes, the other day, looking for a solution for that, i've found a site that explains that the error is caused because of high speed computers, in order to solve it you need to run something to make slower your CPU while passing that part of the game, in my case i used CPUKiller 3, and it worked out perfectly, just saying, cause i lost a lot of time traying to pass that, and its imposible to end the game without that part.. and perhaps someone got stuck like me before :P

Bye, hope this helps someone

he he he...ten times scarier than Katrina and Avoozl, and a million times scarier than any beast you shall find in the game. 'Tis the most feared monster in all of the QFG series...'tis the dreaded Error 52! And although the CPU Killer works some of the times, I've found it doesn't work for me since I've gotten a new computer. My old worked fine with CPU Killer, but now, even if I slow it down to 2% of it's actual processing speed, it doesn't work. Curse the Error 52!

there is also a failry large list of people on the official QFG forums over at the Sierra Community who have volunteered to help with the error 52 problem, for those who may have it.

http://www.cpukiller.com/download.html

If that doesn't work, e-mail your saved game, plus the saved game catalog, and I will pass the spot for you, save the game, and then send it back.

Isn't it decided if you'll get an error 52 when you start a new game?
