In Japan, when a woman turns 25, they call her Kurisumasu ke-ki (Christmas Cake).
Get the cruel joke?
On the 24th everyone wants the cake, but on 25th nobody wants it.

Well, I'll turn 25 on April 27th. It gets me pretty upset.

Trapped in my own room from 3 years
No friends. No cake. No present. (hmmm...traditional bday of mine )

Just me staring at the ceiling.

:wallbash:

You should try getting out of that room than, and have yourself a good time.

There's also a saying in Australia: life begins at 40.

It seems that many talented, imaginative people live fairly isolated lives. I wonder if that's because these folk are dreamers and not practical; visionaries, who are slightly out-of-step with the majority. they are usually very sensitive and honourable. Don't lost confidence in yourself, because self-esteem is vital to achieving anything.

You won't be alone on your birthday this year. We'll celebrate it with you if you have the date listed in your profile. Digital presents will be coming.

self-esteem, huh?
too late, I've got inferiority complex

and tulac, that wasn't my idea and choice to be here.
Huge physical pain, bad diagnosis and many health problems...Get the idea?

It's strange that people think that one could isolate herself completely from the world from the very own will. "Illness" is what would first come to my mind. But maybe I'm a minor.

Aaah, thanks for explaining that, Kamiko. i'm sorry to hear you're so ill. I hope you recover soon...no matter what the diagnosis is. I guess I was thinking of myself a little. I tend to be a bit isolated as I'm a shy person and find it hard to meet people who are on the same wave-length.

Christmas cakes last for years and years, and they are always yummy, especially when you eat them on a day that isn't Christmas - so they can take their "proverb" and shove it!

doesn't matter. safety doesn't come first.. at least on your birthday... life isn't made to waste it between four walls(no matter the problems that you have), cause death is for the "four boards and two nails". get out of the house, climb a mountain and thro.. no.. just go out
on april 27th, a friend of mine turns 18 :P so i'll be drinking for you too

Well I wish you'd get better. I've heard that spirits play a big role in resistance to illnesses and recovery so don't get down. In your room you can read --surely you didn't know it until I told you :P --, but what all winners like to do is posting a lot in the Abandonia Forums.
