Default "Sentinel" top down shooter for Windows

Trying to find this game that suddenly popped back into my head the other day:
  • Had the word "Sentinel(s)" in the title somewhere
  • Played it sometime in the late 90's/early 2000's most likely
  • Windows 95/98 game
  • Found it on a Twilight disc (pirated software collection)
  • 2D, played from a top down perspective
  • Player controls a ship trying to shoot down enemies which are trying to get at crystals/artifacts which you must defend
  • Between waves, you can upgrade your ship using points you earn
  • If all crystals/artifacts are destroyed, the game ends (I think)
  • Game had pretty nice high resolution graphics and smooth movement

That's about all I can remember. Mobygames doesn't seem to know it so I was hoping someone around here might know more.

Could you describe a little bit more how the gameplay works? It reminded of defender, but that one was sideways. More specifically, how to enemies take/destroy the crystals and where are these found?

Ah, right. The game took place on a single screen, the crystals (actually, I think might have been glyphs or something) were in set positions and enemies entered the screen one after another. I don't fully remember the details whether the enemies destroyed the crystals/glyphs/artifacts/whatever or took them with them. I think it might have been the latter.

Sentinels of Seth, Twilight #24.

I have no idea where to get it other way, unfortunately. PM me if you'll not found it.

Awesome! Figured the Twilight connection would help, those things were a great source for obscure games back in the day. Well, a quick Google search has left me completely in the dark, so some help in getting it is much appreciated Thanks so much!

It's 5Mb in RAR-archive. I can send it to you in mail - or give me file-sharing service where I can put it.

Smiling Spectre already sent me the game. Thanks anyway.

And the reason I couldn't find anything on Google before is cause he misspelled the title (it's Ceth instead of Seth), but hey, no harm done Very happy, thanks everyone!

EDIT: Hm, upon closer inspection the installer that Spectre sent me doesn't work, but I was able to find a registered version over here anyway:

Ah. Well, sorry for that. I copied the title from the Twilight description. I never started the game myself.

Well, now that you can finally play it again, few screenshots and short description won't hurt
