[The Fifth Horseman] Hexplore
Hello,
This is an RTS game from the late '98. I remember playing the Demo from a magazine CD. There were 3 guys that you could control. One of them had arrows, 2nd had magic and I don't remember about the third they wearing green, blue and red. The colors were very bright. You could explore dungeons. It had good graphics. This is not Diablo for sure! The name (I think) contains "h" and "x" . Something like heretic or hexen or something like that. I don't remember much about it |

FYI: RTS stands for Real Time Strategy. This one doesn't really look like it. |

An RPG (not RTS) from 99 I remember was Darkstone, a diablo clone in 3D. Somewhat off from the description, but maybe memory is playing a trick on you.

Well technically, the first Hexen does indeed have three characters to choose from. Hexen II has four.

Except that, unless my memory really got out of whack, Hexen is a FPS and is not located in a dungeon.
There is a world of difference between a RTS and a FPS... |

I know, but I thought it was too much of a coincidence not to mention it.

There is one game I remember which might fit the thread starter description... It is a game in which you have access to a mage, a knight and a rogue or an archer or something. You move around on a map and you can select quests and missions or the like too.
Never really played the game so I'm a little fuzzy... And I can't remember the name for the sake of anything you want. At first I thought it was Sword & Sorcery or something like that but I can't find a game which match this name. The name was definitely a combination of two things together. Of course this is not helping much... |
