Default HELP: Two games are driving me nuts!!!

Hi guys.
I really hope you can help me with these two.

Game 1: You are a little yellow submarine, living at the buttom of the sea.
You are really small, so you earn money by collecting coins, with a magnet or cigaretes with a grapplinghock, or even pearls with a suction device.
You then have to drag it to some small undervater cities, where you have to dock. There are many of these cities and i think there are three factions.
So you are doing missions for each of the factions.
You start out with a small electrick beam, which you can kill fishs and pirate submarines.
Later in the game you can equip missiles and bigger beams to your submarine.

Game 2: Now this is hard.... I dont remember much from the game.
Its a 2d strategy game, that you see from the site. I cant remember how many factions you can choose between, but they are all alien. I think 3-5.
The game itself is really wierd looking and you dont get much help in how the resource system works, or even how you attack.
I think you have some specific point you can build your buildings, (also wierd looking and not much info).
The resource system, i think, was something with blue globes then you can invest...
I dont remember much more, other than its a really old game.
Before 2000 i am sure..

Hope you can help..

#1 is Archimedean Dynasty I think.
#2 ... might be WarWind, perhaps? Not 100% sure on that though.
