Um no, Team17 still holds rights to Worms.
It isn't ESA, but that doesn't mean it's abandoned. Besides, they still sell this in packs and stuff.

I would be very suprised if Worms is abandonware, anyways, for a good worms clone, try Gunbound, its a free worms style online game, pretty nice actually.

Couple of years ago, i bought cool Worms collection pack, which includet Worms, Worms 2 and Worms pinball+a cool huge Worms T-Shirt (I love that shirt, because its too big for me!  ). |

I find that Liero Xtreme is pretty good.
Of course it isn't turn based, but I have never seen so MANY guns!
