Whoohoo! :Brain:
Thanks everyone, for voting for me and the others, we had a lot of great pieces. Congratulations to all of us for working hard k: To give you all time to work on your next piece, I'll go ahead and post my chosen topic. After much consideration... I wanted to choose something that would offer a flexible choice of tone, as well as various choice of subject. Therefore the topic is: What We Desire Please read the following carefully before starting on your piece: You can write about any form of desire, be it innocent or sensual (as long as you keep it PG13). For example, the desire to be loved, the desire to create art, the desire to eat raspberry cheesecake. You can use any tone, humorous to dark. As long as your piece expresses strong desire for whatever is being desired, it's all good. Do not post a piece about sex. This isn't physical desire, this is emotional desire. It's what your mind wants, not what your body wants. There are other forums for that sort of thing, I'm sure. |

He just wants to stay alive!!!!!! Congratulations, Tai! I'm glad you won.
Well, there's a "something" I wrote today. Not sure if there's a clear defined desire recognizeable in my text, though I tried to put it in. The inner voice is often hard to describe... Well, it is my second attempt at writing something at all, so I hope you'll be gentle. The train is moving To unknown destination The time is running And leaves the fates behind The stars are flying in the sky They have been always there They are not caring For our daily fights The fights we're leading daily For our own place in life Like blisters on the river We come and go again... Some fall back and disappear Some shine far ahead in time But the warmth in every heart So hard to find to ease the life Look the stars above the sky No more struggle, no more fight See tomorrow, feel today Say goodbye to yesterday Feel no sorrow, feel no pain Feel the action in the air Just reaction, no more care You and me, together free |

@Fawful: Good job! k: It's a fun blend of seriousness and humor, and game related, so double kudos to you!
@FreeFreddy: Very good, I liked your description, although some of your metaphors confused me, probably a culture difference, though. For example: blisters on a river? I'm not sure what that is... Otherwise, well done k: |
