lethe, it does suck to have an almost immunity to anesthetics, doesn't it? I have more examples (had about 10 operations so far) but I decided to just post the most recent one. I don't know what is causing it but next time I will get drunk before the operation (if ever).

Just remembered that one: A knife TROUGH my right shoulder when I was 16... It got through clean and didn't even leave a major scar, but thinking about it, that was some serious sh*t back then and still gives me creeps.

And while were at it: About one and a half hours ago I split open the tip of my right middle finger because I accidentely trashed my hand against my desklamp. It stopped bleeding some minutes ago. Sorry, that's all I can offer right now

When I was about 10, I swallowed a fish-bone and had a small piece of it pierced in my esopphagus (spelling?), it hurt like hell.

When I was 12, I was cutting my finger nails when one of them popped right out to pierce itself in my right eye for several days. It came out eventually with tears (of pain)....

I broke my collar-bone when I was 5...
..and my right pinky-toe when I was 9.

And apart from all that, just two words: menstrual cramps

I get girlishly long fingernails that are very tough. When I cut them they are scary projectiles

Something that would have hurt: I wear steel toed boots, and just the other day I was helping my dad with the car when it backed up and the front-right tire ran over my foot. I had to pull the metal out and bend it back into shape, I was lucky that I didn't bother to tie it...

Well I've cut my wrist trying to open a window. Didn't really hurt but it was scary as it didn't stop bleeding for an hour.

I pratically bit my tongue off when I was 3 or 4. I'm sure it hurt but I don't remember it just seen the photo's.

I been hit in the nuts numerous times.

I've stapled my finger.

I've had a spring stuck in my finger it was actually twisted around inside my finger, didn't hurt though.

But the worst pain was being stabbed with a stick very hard in the arm, it was blunt, thick, went pretty deep, I had to pull it out and then there were splinters stuck in the wound and I had to get them out, hurt a lot.
