Best Intro Wing Commander IV: The Price of Freedom. Only 15 minute intro I have ever seen in a PC game.

yeah, I used to love that train effect on startup. Still can't get the video to work yet Picard...

Did anyone ever play Operation Flashpoint? I think that had a pretty amazing intro. Game was a huge step up for when it came out. Hairy...
Now that you remind me, that was great too. So were the two expansions, and all the in-game cutscenes in both. If someone could create a game with the single-player gameplay of OFB but the graphics and controls of Battlefield then I'd be truly happy.

Quality Intros/Ingame Movies

C&C series = It was worth buying the games just for them

Mechcommander

Starcraft = For terran comedy value

Warcraft III

World of Warcraft

Fallout series = Just showed you how much they thought through the storyline and as has already been mentioned the first line of 'War...War Never changes' I loved how they started every game with that line

Fallouts were great (I didn't see anyone mention the other part of Fallout 2 with the people coming out of the vault and their welcoming committee... )

Torment was probably my favorite. Even better, was one of it's demos.. I think the one that came with BG1. I've actually searched through my Interplay collection just to watch that demo before!

Other nice ones.. Deus Ex: IW (can't remember the first one.. I'll have to check it out again), Crusader: No Remorse
