I have to say this one thing about guns.
I am not with them or against them. I think there are just so many sides. What about hunters and farmers? Should theyre guns be taken away as well? That would make things a little more difficult for the farmers, if they had no guns.... Believe me, I practically grew up on a farm.
I have never shooten from a gun, though, and I don't know if I will, but it's more than range-shooters, criminals and paranoid people (though in many cases I can't blame them) who use guns.
If hunters weren't allowed to have guns, HOW WOULD WE BE ABLE TO EAT DUCKS?!?!?!?!?!?!? I love ducks...
But we don't use guns to catch puffins, though....
But like I said, there are so many sides. They can't just BAN guns completely.
As to swords and stuff, I think they're not illegal in iceland, but you can't really find it for sale here, and it's illeagal to bring them into the country. So that's a problem... My cousin collects swords and bows and daggers, but her father works for the toll-police at the international airport, so...
People find ways if they are interested....

How and if people use guns, depends first of all on them alone, so ban use of weapons is senseless thing. When the people use guns at something bad, that's a sad thing and there should be done something about such people, but anyone should understand that using guns against people is not good. If they don't understand that, bad for them...

The bad thing is. When guns are banned completely, the people who do have access to them are mostly the ones you don't really want to have them. They'll find a way around it :-/

i would like to see more strict gun control laws here in the U.S.. working in a convenience store/gas station at night is scary to say the least. i would almost feel safer running through a shooting range with a target on my chest as for the prez...i voted for ralph nader - anyone who labels the ford pinto "unsafe at any speed" is O.K. with me

After Moore said his first goal was to entertain, and second to inform.
I lost the last shred of respect I had for the Fat Man.
The only thing I agree with him 100% is that the US should ask Israel for help in dealing with the terrorist scum.

GO ISRAEL!! They are much cooler than those damn palestinians... Don't ask me to rationalise it, please. And if there are some palestinians here, sorry, but that's just my opinion.
