I think this game looks really cool, but the animations are very slow when i run it in xp. I've tried doing it in dosbox by mounting my d: drive as c and then type sango(the name of the folder) and then the exe file like this:

c:\sango\SANGO.EXE

How can I get the game to run smoothly?

I have an AMD Athlon 2200+ with 1024 RAM and a Geforce FX5700

Increase the CPU cycles with CTRL+F12 (CTRL+F11 decreases them) to around 6000-7000 which should be sufficient for the game. Of course more isn't worse, but if you increase it more than your CPU can process, the emulation will become slower instead, so experiment with what the optimal maximal value for your PC is.

I remember the shareware version of this game. I found a screen which had all of the character moves, how do you get to that?

Excellent game. I remember my dad playing this game when like 5 years old. The game is almost flawless.

After playing ahile i found out the best way to win is to expand fast and build many citys before you bump into an opponent.

Characters in this game has a very limited number of special moves. Like 3, or 4 for each, therefore they are very easy to trigger. Just like OMF, this game is very easy to handle.
moves like left-right-punch
right-left-punch,
and simple combinations alike so on, trigger something at almost every charater. so just keep on tying. I LOVE THIS GAME! (much better than the second part...)

Well, then you seem to have attached this key combination in Windows to something different and it interferes, because CTRL+F11 simply 'has' to work.
