Imagine the shame of getting owned by him at any game.

I don't think I would mind. I would be too busy gawking than feel ashamed

I belive the sonar thing, it could be real. But I still think that guy playing videogames AND winning, is an utter hoax. I just don't see how can he play like that.

Playing Tekken is just a matter of learning and inputting complex move sequences to do absolutely mad attacks. Sure, it helps to know where your opponent is to ensure that your attacks hit all the time; but if you turn into a whirling ball of death that the other player can't go near without getting hit you'll almost always beat an unskilled opponent (ie, one who has not memorised long lists of button presses).

I don't think this is a hoax.

Really impressive sonar ability too. The skateboarding is just mad.

There was a Starcraft player a few years ago from Korea who was totally blind, he went up against the leading champ (I don't know what his name was, competitive gaming is dumb) and actually lasted for awhile, and did quite well too, he played better than the majority of average players.

If you can play a game like Starcraft all because of the sound (as that player did) I'm sure you can play something as simple as some dumb Dragon Ball fighting game (by the way, the rotation is static, so the total movement thing is still restricted, more than the current Mortal Kombat games) without sight and purely by sound.

This guy's clearly from outer space or something.
Doesn't seem likely to me, but if it's all good then high five to that lad.

Does anyone else find US media condescending and repetitive? :bleh:
