I so totally loved this game from the first time I tried it, and I still do. We're still now, all these years after, drinking a lot of beers and having Shufflepuck tournaments/competitions.
My Amiga chrashed just a few weeks back but I'm almost there to get it working again, then we're read for a new round!

Totally great you added it here, now I can send it to my friends and they wont accuse me for cheeting, by practicing by myself, when I happen to win every now and then.

You dudes rock harder than the manager in 'Rockstar Ate My Hamster' and the introsong to'CannonFodder' all together.

Once again, another incentive to get that amiga emulator up and running. So many great games seem to have marginally better versions on the Amiga.

The problem is I've never used an Amiga before, so I have to learn both the Amiga and the emulator at the same time.

AmigaOS was very intuitive and easy to use. Far ahead of its time, too. You don't have to learn the OS though, unless you're going to set up a complete virtual machine, the emulator lets you boot up amiga and start the game automatically (as the old amiga used to as well).

Using the amiga emulator does require some studying, but at least there are plenty of config files out there you can use.

Awww yeahhh, another game from my childhood emerges!!! A friend of mine had this for the AtariST and, due to the pecking order of who got to play games, I had to sit and watch while the game went on. NOT THIS TIME! BWAHAHAHA!!!! :brain:

I remember playing this game on my uncle's Amiga once in the short weekend we were there I almost managed to finish the game but not quite. For the longest time the only thing I could remember was that it was called Shufflepuck something.

I've never played this game before, but it is excellent fun and very satisfying.
But can anyone give me any tactics on beating Neural (the guy with no face) ? I realise he always hits the puck at whatever speed you send it over to him...but he's so good at being in the right place at the right time, if you smash a winner he sends it wizzing straight back

yeah he beat me up twice now.. but i got him after the third try
just be slow at the first go, then his paddle will go to a corner and u can just smack the puck in the other corner... then he will be slow too at the start, then again his paddle will be in the corner and thrust the puck very hard in other corner
actually very easy if you have some control and dont wave ur paddle around (a good tactic against biff though ^^ )
