Live action role playing - running around the woods wearing a silly costume hitting people (gently) with sticks and drinking beer while wearing a daft outfit.

Yeah, that's what I meant, creating this topic. My lack of English...
And about drinking - one man on that Russian forum said, that many players lost their spirit. It is more drinking and playing fool with wooden swords, then real playing. So, as he continues, all real players are now leading in reconstructors' clubs.

That's about right! I suppose it's healthier than sitting in front of a television so long that you develop rudimentary creepers on your behind, but I stopped watching tv 14 years ago. And I have plenty enough to do in the realworld without bothering about live-action roleplaying.

It sounds funny indeed. Hitting people and drinking beer...
You can't ask for more!

I voted I don't care, but it sounds kind of fun

But I've never played and I don't drink, so maybe that would make it more boring.

I would play, because I like things like this, but I simply don't have the time. I've played a few times before, but not enough to really develop a character.

Sounds like one of the guy's I saw playing LARP lat time, he carried a bag full of ping-pong balls and he threw them at people yelling Fireball! Fireball!.

I mean, I like roleplaying (D & D 'n stuff) but LARP is bit to much "out there" for me.
