I know it probably appears that way mate but Heroes is just something I've been passionate about for 10 years now and I know that there are fans everywhere that may not know about H5’s existence or its progress... Much to my girlfriends annoyance I decided to devote my entire Easter weekend to showing off the game to all the places I visit LOL!!!!! My download of the Demo has just finally finished but it only gets to the title screen (very cool battle between a devil & Inquisitor) on my ancient computer, it keeps crashing every time I try to load a mission grrr... gonna have to wait until I get my upgrade before I can really check it out I guess..

Where did I recently ready about publishers paying people to have even hundrends of different accounts in forums to push games? The thing is that according to that, the plan is to first win the trust of the other forum members before try to push the game. hmm.
I never liked the HOMM series for some reason. I liked a bit the second one, but not enough to play it much or care about the sequels. I do prefer Age of Wonders. |

I been extremely disapointed in HOMM4. I don't think the fifth game can help much here, my main grudge was on the new 3D graphics and how the battles were fought. As well as the game turning more arcade than strategy... C'mon, when you have a hero which can beat a whole army all by himself...

Haven't played it for long yet, but my first impression was that it plays much more like HoMM3 (you know, the good one) than IV - it's like IV never happened. I actually spent a while trying to add a second hero to my army before I remembered that. The graphics are very sexy even on my 9250, and should look pretty amazing on my new PC when that arrives, although it's a it of a system hog (not like Oblivion or anything, but the rec. spec for GPU is an x800 or above). The mission I played looked rather tougher than HoMM3 (which was a bit too easy), and the voice acting wasn't TOO awful (better than, say, Dawn of War's :P).

About the DEMO:
I played Homm3 for at least weeks in total (when you set all the hours play behiNd eachother ) and i had to say i was pretty good in the game.. But now ill play the DEMO in Normal mode what should be easy and useful for the newbies but i has been beaten 3 times in row...i just miss some days to prepare myself for the devils attack ne or my castle... It's really frustrating game so far...what a high challenge and that for a DEMo... Im the only one struggling with the demo or does more people has a hard time with it and any advice how to play the first 9 days of the demo?? Ps. i dont give opion yet about the game, ill need more hours playing with it before i can tell the final review
