I would suggest trying to paint the well-known enemy of humanity, but not like some ugly and terrible monster but as who he is - a rebelled and thrown down angel. While he's an enemy, with the right imagination and skill (which I lack unfortunately) it could become a beautiful piece of art worthy to be remembered about.

Uhmm... Maybe a limit around 1280x1024 pixels cuold be enough to leave enough freedom... ?

And the lower limit is fixed in 80x80 pixels: who'll go under this limit will be disqualified immediately!!
