Actually I think he reloads to be able to reach the SAD, not simply for Golgotha.

And visiting Golgotha is only an alternative solution, not a requirement to solve the mentioned quest.

Fiasco, again fiasco... The Bloodshed is not always the best way to solve problems...
Killing son and father Mordino in New Reno, also Father Trully I broke the link to know the Location of SAD.
I decided to reload, then (because of my lazy soul) decide to continue.. Real chaos..
Dear Capo, I still have no Plasma weapons.

To clear the situation here is my report.

1. Level 25 - about 305 k Exp. Money - 37 k$, 124 HP
2. About 50% of main options are more than 100%.
3. Equipment
3.1 - Armor
Me - Combat armor - green colored.
Sal, Cas and Lenny are with Metal Armor Mark II
3.2 - Weapons
Me - I use 4 weapons:
For very hard and melee battle I use Gatling Laser.
For ordinary battle and remote opponents I use Laser rifle
Against group of enemies I use Flamer
And for weak opponents I use Jackhammer
My Sancho Pansa or armor-bearer is Lenny.

Sal is used Pistol .223.
Note: I am more and more concerned of Sal behavior at battlefield, mates. He used to advance 20 steps before me and enter enemies location. This way he often stands between me and opponents and my and 2 others commandos shots hit him. Or the opponents encircle Sal and he became easy target under their dead massive fire. Have no time and steps to reach and Help Sal.. Any idea?-Close to me - does not work..

Cas is used Sniper rifle.

Lenny has Pistol .223.

4. More details:

Me - HP 124, AP 11,AC 30Sal - HP 134, AP 12,
Cas - HP 116, AP 9,
Len - HP 154, AP 7

Present location - Broken Hills

Q1: May I find this SAD randomly or how?

By "Sal" you mean Sulik?
Anyway, to change behaviour try fiddling with the NPC's behaviour-screen. Changing the distance from you, or the Ai's agressiveness can mean a major difference. And if you still can not deal with the particular partymember, simply change it.

SAD is a special location, you can only find it if you do quests for the Wrights.
If you can not reach it, don't worry too much. There is only equipment (tons f it, but around the quality you already have), some minor things to achieve, and an NPC-hiring quest (did you ever want a personal Skynet?).
Entering the SAD can change the NewReno ending (in case you didn't lied with any of the two Bishop lady without condom), but otherwise you can forget the whole thing. No need real fuss.

Ah, my mistake with New Reno (brutal elimination of 3 clans) up-down all game.
So sorry.
When I start the game again in the mean future all these fails will be avoided.
But reloading is not variant because I have to back many. many days.


The only good thing of all story is that new gamers of FO2 will read about stupid fails of more stupid yoga and avoid them..

Anyway I feel more strong now and step by step reach some control of situation in the battles. (Only have to manage this evil and idiotic battle behavior of Sul.)
Still 6 aliens and 8 caravan test members are problem for me.
With 3 commandos only I am unable to withstand this outnumber opponents.
BTW I like more these battles than some idiotic tests like - Find for me exploding doll or plow?

(Every RPG has own charisma but saga FO maybe is the best. Pls note that I first saw the FO interface at 4-6 Jan 2011 thanks to well respected Wardencz.)
Today, 36 days after my beginning I successfully goto end.
Last Q: Ok.
I will place this Mirrored Shadows in my active slot and..?
May this act up my Charisma to 6 and for example rejoin Vic or (if) Marcus?

The mirrored Shades do NOT have to be in the active slot. It is totally VALID to have them in the other (hidden) weapon slot. (You can check the statchange if you open your inventory, and fiddle with the thing.)

Otherwise yes. If your charisma reaches a higher pair number, you'll be allowed to hire a new NPC.

Yes, I did!
I put down the Mirrored Shadows to my hidden slot and... my CH ups to 6 that was enough to rejoin Vic.
Now I am with 4 men - Sul, Vic, Cas and Lenny.
I plan if the tasks are fulfilled to join Marcus and again put Vic in pension.
Or if Sulik continued with his idiotic tricks I will be forced to cancel his membership and join Marcus..
No more members wanted - no dog, no lady or some..

But - No free lunch- and I have to operate with 1 weapon only what is let sat not so good.

1. Awareness
2. Gecko skinning
3. Magnetic
4. Gain Charisma
5. Sniper

1) When you don't need the extra charisma, you can put your Mirrorred Shades into your backpack. No need to worry.

2) The next perk depends on personal preference, and can be based on many factors. Probably one of the best choice is Better Criticals (if you cause a critical hit, it'll be more serious, like instead of some extra damage it'll give armor-penetration, or even cripling limbs).
But there are many alternatives, the best perks you already have. You want an extra statpoint? Take it. You want more special encounters? Choose that. You'd have an extra shot with 1 more AP? Choose Action Boy. Need to carry more things? PackRat is your choice. You tend to use items during fights? Take Quick Pocket.

Another note is, there are many perks you can aquire without leveling. Extreme Excrement Expeditor, Prizefighter, Phoenix Armor Implant, Porn Star - all there just for you and more!
