TFT you said? My brother has a TFT - and he is not able to play dosgames (using dosbox, or without) at a normal resolution. Darn, that I didn't think of that before.
Since he is not that into dosgames, we haven't found a solution. I use a plain, good 'ol monitor and everything works.
Try to play other dosgames, like BioMenace. If the resolution is low, well... then you're screw-drivered. Or someone must have an ingenious solution.

Hm.. wait, sorry, you never mentioned a TFT, I must have confused you with someone else. Sorry again.

No, I'm not crazy! You said laptop monitor. What a relief.

I justed fixed the resolution. I put "fullfixed=true" in dosbox.conf and also I put "output=opengl". Now I can see perfectly fine in almost full-screen. k: :Brain:
Now, if only I could find a way to adjust this #@$%@#budget without crashing the game...

Thanks Pascal k:

Just one more question:

Why is it I have over a million soldiers in a territory and the other has 800,000, yet I still managed to lose the war?

Is this a bug in the game or do I need tons more than the enemy to defeat them?

Thanks

Oh, but it did make a difference...
Initially I had only a 40% screen coverage...with "fullfixed=true" I got a 65-70% size.
With "output=opengl" I got almost a full screen of the main game. I didn't changhe anything else.

Well, actually there are resolution control parameters that affect Fullfixed as well.
