hello,

ive got a problem with blade of destiny. all character have 3000+ exp...and are still level 1. is this a bug or what?

Not sure, but... wasn't there a special function to advance a level or something?

Oh buy! This takes me back. I haen't spoken german in about 12 years, but before that I was a huge DSA follower with big monthly pen'n'paper games. I recently worked on an online game and tried to explain to teh team the brilliance of the DSA system and how I used to have a PC version. This is a great find and I might just play it all over again in english!

not sure if this has been asked, I didn't find anything about it in this thread:

How can I combine herbs and stuff to make a potion? I found a recipe and have all the ingredients that I need (for expurgic, whatever that is/does...), but I don't know how to combine them. Anybody care to help?

First you need one of the party members to have positive points in skill Alchemy, and the more the better chance of succeeding. Second, you need to have all the necessary ingredients in the inventory of this one character. And third, you need to rent a room in a tavern for around 2-3 days or more. But don't rest there, just click on the hand icon to access the special options and there you can select Alchemy and the potion you want to try yourself on. Might succeed if your Alchemy skill is high, or might fail if it's low, so better save before entering the tavern.

Thanks for the quick response. Worked out fine, but needed to get myself an alchemy kit first.
Do you happen to know what the expurgic thing does and how I use it?

Expurgic is a weak poison, I think you put it on weapon, otherwise it's used on enemies in combat when held in right (shield) hand.

I have tried everything to attempt to save the game and can't get it done even followed other peoples advice on here. I run a win98 on my comp. any help would be great. I have my characters saved but it won't save the game.

Please I beg you all for help.

You can save the game in temples and, I think, camps. Been a long while
