You also deleted my post relating to how I liked fallout 2 and its trials even though I died straight after and never played it again.

Default Fallout: New Vegas

Check it out: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Courier

I'm a bit disappointed, but so long as I get to murder everyone in a vault, I'm happy.

also, if you like Fallout go watch A Boy and his Dog because that film *is* Fallout. At least, how I end up playing my char in Fallout 2...
Virgin of the Wastes perk is something I've never managed to use...

I thought there already was A New Vegas thread. Unless it's been deleted.

So is A Boy and His Dog really that good? I've had it for some time now, but can't make myself watch it.

And on the subject, I've seen Book of Eli, and it's not too bad, though not great either, I've seen The Road and it was so boring I couldn't watch more than 30 minutes, and my favourite post apoc film remains Six String Samurai.

@russ - Fallout supposedly has a lot of homages and references to A Boy and his Dog and is oftenly quoted as one of the biggest inspirations for the game, along with Mad Max. Or so I heard.

@fubb - that's not really a good description of the Six String Samurai, I'd sooner say it's the one about a guy who can kill over two hundred men and play a mean six string at the same time. In a postapoc world. Yeah, that's closer.
