They are kinda right, in that there are the "Tales of Monkey Island" and "Sam n Max" series that have been released - but there is only the "Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition", which has the old game, but with an updated skin or something.
From what I've played, it's exactly the same bar the graphics and SCUMM update. The MI & Sam n Max series are okay, I guess - I tried to get SnM series for Wii, but it's been stuck at 98% for about 2 months now... I don't think I'll be playing it anytime soon. Wasn't the prize for the Monkey Island competition a series of "Tales of Monkey Island"? I know I do it too, but we should really make an effort to not bash the noobs so hard... The dude was just trying to preach to the choir, is all. |

Hug the noobs, they're soft and squishy.... Seriously? Wish they'd all just take two minutes to read the faq. Is that so hard, Saccade? (i made a rhyme!! ) :P

In my head it's always Sacc-ahhd. And an image of you roundhouse-kicking blackclad ninjas with a cigar in your clenched teeth... And flowing hair. Possibly this makes you a concatenation of Wolverine, Gambit .....and Rogue.

Good Game ! But in some situations very difficult.
And for everyone who has a problem to start it: Use ScummVM ! |
