Emulation
So, do any of you use emulators?
I use PCSX on my Linux box to play PS1 games and I use PCSX2 on my Win box to play PS2 games. They're a whole lotta fun, especially since a lot of good games are on Sony's console.

I used to do a lot of console emulation on PC. Genesis, SNES, Gameboy, etc. Let me experience a lot of games that otherwise would have passed me by.

EPSXE - PS1
PJ64 - N64 ZSNES - SNES GENS - GENESIS PCSX2 - PS2 And PS2 emulation works perfectly with some games (like FF X for example), but is still far from perfect with others, and there are games that still won't start up. But there is progress. |

A while ago I used adriPSX to run PS1 games. Don't know where to find it now though (i.e. I can't be bothered to use Google ).

I haven't messed with emulators in a while but I use anything I can get my hands on since I like having the versatility to play pretty much any old game I want and there are lots of old games across multiple systems that I like. The ones I use the most are probably DosBox, WinVICE, and Kegs. I use a lot of others, but they might not be the best available anymore, like SNES9x and UAE.
