I remember playing the demo on one of my old Computer Games Strategy Plus cds. Wow was that some fun strategy. Ranks right up there with M.A.X. in strategy imho.

Why? It was quite unique when it came out.
I was expecting more management in the game, not just some sort of RTS action.

Well, even with VDMSound or DOSBox I did not been able to make my Z CD version to play with sound. The game always crash.

My last attemp was almost succesful, the only problem is that whenever I wanted to start the first mission the game crashed... But everything else before, like the sound, the music and the intro sequence worked fine...

I've been playing Z a while ago, and I found it fascinating how good this game was. Too bad that it was a shareware version... Playing 1 level 100 times...

I'll try it tonight. I guess I'll give this game another try.
