Might and Magic VI was drug-like for me back in '98 (or '99?). Anyway, I played it regularly for more than three months.

I've also been addicted to:

Prehistorik 2 (ah, the good ol' times)
Baldur's Gate II
Daggerfall
Might and Magic VII
Ultima VII
Fallout 2
One Must Fall (god, I absolutely LOVED this. I played the demo version like if I was crazy, then I got the full game and wasted another two-three months of my life playing it :w00t
Monkey Island 1 & 2
Indiana Jones and the last crusade/Indiana Jones and Fate of Atlantis
The Quest for Glory series (especially 3 and 4)

and more, but I can't remember.

Oh, I played it. I like M&M VII quite a bit more than the six chapter, even if I spent less time playing it. I played M&M VIII too, but I found it a bit disappointing.

M&M IX, by the way, was pure cr@p.

Ultra noob guys :bleh: , my Complete Armour +6, that gives a +3Dex bonus is better MOAAHAAHA!

Im on a quest on beating all the Forgotten Realms games. So far theres only Baldurs Gate II: Throne of Bhaal, Icewind Dale II, and Neverwinter Nights 2 left to beat :E
(Unless of course there be Forgotten Realms games whose existence i may be unaware of)

Oh Boy, I have a long history of getting addicted to games, heres a list I remember that I played for like a while:

- Operation Flashpoint
- Garry's Mod 10
- Counter-Strike Source
- Day of Defeat Source
- Civilization 2 & 4
- Blood 1
- Halo 2
- Guild Wars
- Disciples: Sacred Lands
- Carmageddon 1,Splat Pack, 2 (Carmageddon 1 the most)
- Heroes of Might and Magic Series (Especially 2 Gold... man countless freakin hours on that game)

Got a list in my head somewhere. It's a little unreliable, but let's see...
Eye of the Beholder 1-3, Menzoberanzzen (wouldn't bother if you haven't), Pool of Radiance, Pools of Darkness, Curse of the Azure Bonds, Secret of the Silver Blades, Hillsfar, The Savage Frontier (two of these) and Dungeon Hack (never played it, sounds like a glorified random dungeon generator).

Oh and as far as addictions, I'll make this easy on me by just saying off the cuff I have a very addictive personality.
The main offenders are:
The Forgotten Realms bunch (the good ones, anyway);
The Final Fantasy crowd;
All the final fantasy-like freeware that you dirty abandonians led me to;
and Lucasarts adventures! because how often can you say you've played with something your whole life, eh?
