Only a year or two ago, my friend and me had tons of games with this version together - it's ace. No special eye candy, just the heart of monopoly.

Too big and complex, probably. Can you imagine trying to balance a Monopoly game with even 6-7 blocks, let alone the odd little twists and turns (cul-de-sacs and the like)? Is this property in block 4-b worth $500? Or is it only worth about $120 because everybody can go around it? What do you do about people who try to simply control most of the properties around the shortest route back to GO, and never take any other turns?

A very cute game! Still excellent at our time.
However do any of you think the dice are... loaded? I can't count how many games where I start with a 4. And computers have some mysterious ability to bypass your houses... I've gone without any income at all for several trips around the map, and I had at least 2 properties on all sides. They either jumped pass them or they went to jail. <_< Last edited by arete; 01-12-2009 at 07:59 AM. |

I think I've tried every single version of Monopoly, PC & Console.
Suprisingly, the N64 one is the best by far. |

There actually was some Monopoly 3D version back in 1999 or 2000 if I remember right. And it was some strategy game.
EDIT: Yea I Found it. Monopoly Tycoon http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/monopo...oon/review.html |
