I played it on an older PC while I was reviewing it, then tested it on XP.

It works, but with no sound (The older PC didn't need Dosbox either).
Have you only played on Dosbox? Because maybe sound will play under ordinary XP.

If it doesn't work then there is nothing I can do.
And it probably does work via VDmSound, but I've only met with unsuccesful account.

even though i am upset that i cant play with sound-you have no idea how upset- i quess i can at least play the game

but when i play it is very uh.... slow- i was just wondering what framerate or skip should i set it to when i play is it works well

The game doesn't work that well on DosBox.
Played it in XP, it works, just double click on the EXE (Trilogy).
If it doesn't work, I can't help you.

is the EXE (Trilogy) the icon that looks like an alien egg or the icon that looks like a window, or neither?

And i'm kind of getting discouraged from ever getting anything from this website ever again, i mean if they don't work well or have no sound i don't see the point

also, why wouldn't it work when i do click the EXE (trilogy) thing?

This is one of the most irritating games to get working.

Yes, there is no sound on XP.
It runs at the correct speed on my PC.
Can you explain how it runs too fast? (Like if you press forward you shoot across in light speed)
