I would just like to say that I disagree with this kind of "voting system"... there shouldn't be any pre-defined judges here, all forum members should be allowed to vote.

I also think that the "judges" should be replaced by some sort of "moderators" - or to be more specific, people that would take care of the competition. One of the rules should be that the submissions would be done to one of these "moderators" and that the ones who vote for it would not know "which work would be from whom" until the results were published... That is, all works would be "anonymous"....

This would prevent some people from having an attitude like this: "hey, I'm voting on my pal/friend even after I see that his work isn't that good, but heck, I won't let that other bastards win"

Well, at the beginning of the "pic of the month competition" we were using the voting system you said (making a poll)... but for some reasons (I don't remember ) we turned to the judges system.
The main reason (but I can be wrong, of course!) I prefer having judges is because they are more involved in voting and they give some useful critics to the artists!
But if you guys prefer to have public votations, I think that there are no problems in return at the old way

I do pick on people alot. I think it's my way of being friendly, but it just comes off as rude sometimes. Sorry if I offended.

I was joking about the fact that Frankefurter doesn't strike me as being something that would satisfy "suductive and play off suggestivity rather than straight lust." He wanders his castle in a teddy (one-upping Hef), animates a hard body sex slave, and lures anyone he can into bed, man or woman.

But, again, I don't need to be picking on people so much. I'll try to do better about that.
