I remember playing the Amiga version of this game. The graphics were substantially better on that platform. Alas I found the game quite boring. I managed to get a brown belt back then...

I played the C64 version - and loved it! Can't wait to start this one (graphics are worse, but the gamplay should still be just as fun)!

Oh my God! I have so much fond memories of this game.
Used to play this as all you guys on ye 'old C64.
I killed many, many joysticks with this one...

Now lets see after 20 years if I can still enjoy this game as much.

Keep up the good work with these amazing games!

Good lookin' out!

There were several clones of this game on C64.

That was great game but PC version looks just not as good as I thought. Where are all the colors? Even Atari XL version had colors?! :not_ok:

Actually, 'The way of the exploding fist' is not the same game, even though they are quite similar. Í liked exploding fist better, the graphics looked better, although the animations were not as smooth as the ones in international karate. However, I felt that you could block better in that game.

By the way, an excellent remake was done of the successor of international karate (IK+): International 64k-rate. You can find it on the site: poke53280.de (wonderful name!).
