Anyone played this game? I love it the only thing I play now, regular CoD is great too though...

Call of Duty 2 is a fine game but except for slightly better graphics there is not a lot to make it stand appart from Call of Duty. Call of Duty was a great game but now so many years on I feel I miss "the next level" in gameplay, without being able to tell you what that level aught to be.

If you like Call of Duty you will not go seriously wrong with this second installment though, that is for sure.

I have never played either of them...I know they are like Medal of honor, but what makes htem SO great?

I liked them, they have more real elements than medal of honour like spawning enemies with checkpoints so you cant camp and pick enemies off like you can in MOH. Its cool when you get hit by an explosion and everything goes blurry too. Still pretty linear, hanging out for a more free flow ww2 FPS

I'd really like to play CoD 2... but it's sooo expensive €60

CoD is still great though, especially multiplayer with UO expansion... Had some sleepness nights with friends over that one :Brain:

But, as Niles points out, I have heard from many sources that it's only a graphical improvement, which certainly isn't enough for me to spend 60 euros on... I'll wait a bit... all games end in the bargin bin after all :P

Yeah it is too expensive, but since normal CoD seems to be crashing for me with no particular reason (and even after I reinstalled) I am suck with CoD2...
Single Player felt just like normal CoD but that's not what I'm interested in anyway...
Multiplayer is somewhat better for me (although many wouldn't agree with me), it has much less lag, the net code is better optimized, and there are new good maps. The only thing that annoys me is trenchgun () an idiotic weapon, and sniper is a bit too strong...
And also the weapons, submachne guns and MP44 sound like they're from future and not WW2...
But I got used to it...
