Just wondering what my next PC should be.
I have one WinXP, a Laptop, and an eMac,
so the next one should be a Mac, to make it
even. But I'm not sure.

The only person that I know had a Mac, came out very dissapointed that many games wouldn't run on his system, or he needed to put in a lot of work to get them to work. This was a few years back, though. I don't know how it is today.
Still, I'll vote PC.

if you want it as a pure system. ie: video editing, music creation, desighn terminal, wordprocessor, ect, i would go for the mac. if you want it as a general all rounder (or games machine) go 4 p.c

Well... His poll does say 'Which is the better choice for Gaming?' So I guessed he meant gaming.

A bit off topic:
MAC is more stable then Pc, isn't it? I know many companies use MAC.
Does anyone have any experience with the positive aspects of MAC? I'm curious.

macs are the choice of industry. hi level recording studios use macs. (if i had the bucks i would get a mac for pure audio editing)
my experiance with macs was at college. when the mac went wrong (driver problems ect) it told you what was wrong with it!! and its help files were actually helpfull!

i have a mac at work and a mac at home. but for gaming and "normal stuff" take a pc.

you get most of the new games for mac aswell but PCs are more compatible to the rest of the world than mac is.

Take a MAC if you want to do profesional stuff like
- office works
- graphics, design, media (!)
- scientific things
- audio
- video
- and maybe some gaming once in a while

Take a PC if
- all of oyur friends have one
- you want to play a lot
- you want cracks and patches
- you want even the most absourd program to be downloadable for your machine

Well, I chose PC in the poll. I love MAC but unfortunately I couldn't be such a gamer without my little AMD.

I have the PC just for that reason

And, about the poll, for gaming you MUST have a PC!
