While keeping in mind what Gormash told you (I actually had no idea of it myself, worth a check!), corrupted downloads usually mean that you need to download it again. It can happen, especially when you have a slow connection and trying to download several things at once. Or surfing while you download.
I myself never experienced this even with my old 56k modem...
