If you were ever a fan of Star Control 2 and if you ever played Star Control 3 you may ask yourself "what happened?"
The short answer is video game politics squeezed the original Star Control team, Paul Reiche III and Fred Ford, as well as any of their story contributions, out of the game leaving a tasteless rind behind.
However, after nearly 15 years Fred Ford and Paul Reiche III, who have continued making video games under their own company called Toys for Bob and considering making the sequel to Star Control 2 that never was! Did you ever want to find out about the Mark II at the end of the game? What about the rainbow world arrows pointing to the final fate of the precursors? Was there more to the Orz and meets the eye?

The Toys for Bob Website Alex states that TFB would like to have a stab at it. However, they need you help. They need to sell it to their publisher Activision. Alex at TFB is gathering e-mail requests from people that when he feels he has enough of he's going to show to Activision, and then it's just a matter of time.
