I found the same problem, but only after i had been trying to change the resolution (F12 key). Try changing your resolution, or re-downloading to get the default one (once it had locked i couldn't change the resolution back!), it worked for me.

yeah, when i press f12 nothing happens and the damn thing still won't work.
