Without the pointless rivalry, inventors could have made the dawn of the 20th century even brigther, because Marconi and Popov weren't the only ones using radiowaves to create a communication device.
Not to mention Tesla's legendary, and unfortunately destroyed works...
It'll be a nice place to visit if they don't try to recreate the lost inventions.
