Try choosing the "Sound Blaster Clone" soundcard in the game's setup program. That worked for me when using sbtype=sbpro2 . With sbtype=sb16 , the "Sound Blaster Pro" choice appears to also work correctly.

Okay I'll try clone. But when I used Sound Blaster Pro, it was making that stuttering clicky noise
*Edit* Tried clone, same exact noise
